Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Where will the check-in desk be?
A:If you are arriving in to the Fredericton Airport and have purchased a ticket for our shuttle, please look for the members of our host committee who will be in black ResNet 2008 t-shirts and will also be holding ResNet signs. Please note, we have only arranged space for those who have signed up for a shuttle. The shuttle will bring you to your hotel or directly to campus, depending on what you've indicated on your registration. Please tell the members of the host committee where you are being dropped off so we can try to keep those going to campus on the same shuttle and those going to one of the hotels on the same shuttle.
If you are not taking a shuttle, taxis and car rental companies are both available from the airport.
The Registration & Information Desk is located in the Main Lounge of the Dunn/Kidd/Tibbits (DKT) Residence. This lounge is accessed by those delegates not staying in residence accommodations by the entrance by the #38 on this map. If you are taking a taxi, the physical address is 42 MacKay Drive on campus.

Q: What should I Bring?
A: The weather this time of year is a bit unpredictable though is generally sunny and about 70 degrees Fahrenheit during the day, though the temperature drops in the evening so a sweater and a light jacket are good to bring along with you. It's also common to have a few rain showers this time of year if you have an umbrella or a rain coat.
If you're going on one of the afternoon activities that is outdoors, bring comfortable shoes and clothes as well as sunscreen.
Of course, don't forget about the T-Shirt Exchange: bring a new T-Shirt with you in order to participate on Sunday evening.
Dress is casual throughout the conference.
Q: Where can I park if I bring a vehicle?
A: Parkign will be available directly beside the residence where attendees are staying on campus (#38). If you have a vehicle you will be parking on campus, make sure to get a parking pass when you register at the Registration & Information Desk. We will need the make/model and license plate number for your vehicle. Parking is free for ResNet delegates.
Q: Should I bring Canadian currency with me?
A: Most stores and services in Fredericton will accept US currency, but if you feel more comfortable exchanging your currency you can do so at most major airports (Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, etc) after arriving in Canada.
Credit cards such as Mastercard and Visa are also accepted, as well as American Express in some establishments. ATMs in the city will accept US cards and cab companies in the city accept payment by credit card as well.
