The University of New Brunswick will host the 15th annual ResNet Symposium June 21-25, 2008. The ResNet Symposium consistently draws over 300 attendees spanning the spectrum of administrators and specialists who plan, purchase, implement, and support residential information technologies at more than 275 colleges and universities in the United States, Canada and abroad.
The heart of every ResNet Symposium is the opportunity to see technology vendors display and explain their products and services in the Vendor Fair. The Vendor Fair for ResNet 2008 will be held on Tuesday, June 24 from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM.

Now entering its 15th year, the ResNet organization has evolved from its simple roots during an informal discussion at Educom, into an internationally recognized professional organization engaging in dialogue, collaboration with vendors and other professional organizations, and professional development.

Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze vendor participants are all included in our Vendor Fair. The major difference between these levels of participation is the way your product and business name are referenced in the binder and throughout the symposium. Each level of participation also has a requirement to provide a raffle gift, of a certain minimum value, to be given away to an attendee that visits your booth2.
Bronze ($7001):
- Vendor Fair booth - 10 ft booth, table, table cloth, two chairs, wastebasket, pipe and draping, basic signage, one wireless network account, one 15A electrical outlet.
- Your company name/logo3 will be included in the Symposium Binder
Requirements
- Payment must be received by April 27, 2008
- At least one raffle gift with a value of $20 or greater
- For inclusion in Symposium materials, corporate logo must be received by May 15, 2008. Contact us for details on image requirements.
Silver ($1,0001):
- Vendor Fair booth - 10ft booth, table, table cloth, two chairs, wastebasket, pipe and draping, basic signage, one wireless network account, one 15A electrical outlet.
- Your company name/logo3 will be included in the Symposium Binder
- Your company name/logo3 will be included in the Symposium T-Shirt
- Text link to your company website from the ResNet 2008 website

- Double booth available for an additional $400 (if available).

Event and Meal Sponsorships put your company name in front of every attendee with unique opportunities to reinforce the great products you already offer. Other Sponsorship Opportunities
Corporate sponsorship of other conference gifts and materials is an excellent way to distribute your corporate name/logo to all attendees. Gifts and materials will be distributed to conference attendees at check in. Dependant on the gift/materials, a basic sponsorship level may be included. Vendor Fair Information
The Vendor Fair is one of the highlights of the ResNet Symposium. It gives attendees the opportunity to view products and meet with vendors that they do not have the opportunity to meet with throughout the year. Lunch and drinks will be served in and around the Vendor Fair hall.
Details
- The Vendor Fair will take place on 6/24/2008 from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM.
- The room is available for set up at 8:00 AM on 6/24/2008.
- The room must be vacated by 6:00 PM on 6/24/2008.
- Vendor raffle will occur immediately after the Vendor Fair.
- Storage for exhibit equipment and supplies is not available before or after 6/24/2008.
- One parking permit will provided for each sponsor.
- The ResNet Symposium will not provide assistance delivering exhibit equipment to/from the Vendor Fair site.
- If any special equipment or facilities are needed, it must be arranged in advance.
- Platinum sponsors will get a choice of booth locations. A floor plan of the Vendor Fair space will be distributed to Platinum sponsors in early May for booth selection.
- Bronze, Silver and Gold sponsors will be assigned a booth by May 15, 2008. Floor plans will be distributed.
- Sponsors are encouraged to bring large dishes or fish bowls to collect business cards. This is the primary way for sponsors to collect contact information. This is also used for the raffle.
- Sponsors will be assigned a local contact for the day of the event. This contact information will be sent to sponsors at least one week prior to the event.
Vendor Track Information
Vendor Track presentations are available to sponsors of meals and events on a first come, first serve basis. These 45-minute presentations will be held during the Vendor Fair in adjacent presentation rooms. Presentations will be available in slots from 1:30PM - 2:15PM and 2:30PM - 3:15PM.
Details
- Projector, screen, microphone and lectern will be available in each presentation room.
- Presentation rooms vary in capacity from 65 – 200 people. Time slots and rooms will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis.
- Title of details of Vendor Track presentations must be received by May 15, 2008 for inclusion in the Symposium schedule and binder.
- Vendor Track presentations will be included on the signage at the Vendor Fair and at the presentation rooms.
General Corporate Participation Information
Corporate participation is an important and popular piece of the ResNet Symposium. Conference attendees look forward to seeing new products and interacting with sponsors. Sponsors have found ResNet is an exceptional way to reach a large number of student-focused IT personnel at colleges and universities throughout the US and Canada.
Details
- Corporate sponsors may not attend any program session or meal unless they are directly involved with a sponsorship of the event.
- A list of represented universities/colleges and the titles of the attendees will be distributed to all sponsors by June 10, 2008. A list of attendee names and contact information will be provided.
- Sponsors are encouraged to bring a large dish or fish bowl to collect business cards of the attendees, for the purpose of drawing raffle gifts. Attendees are familiar with this method and bring many business cards to share with corporate sponsors.

Details
- Sponsorship space is not reserved until payment is received.
- Payments are not refundable.
