Implemented on January 23, 2007, ALL PERSONS traveling by air between the United States and Canada, Mexico, Bermuda, and the Caribbean region are required to present a passport or other valid travel document to enter or re-enter the United States.

Fredericton's International Airport (YFC) is conveniently located only minutes (14 km) from both UNB and downtown Fredericton and is serviced daily by Air Canada, Air Canada Jazz. The Greater Fredericton International Airport provides daily flights to Toronto and Montreal.
You may also fly in to Moncton, NB which has a direct flight from Newark. Driving from Moncton to Fredericton is approximately 1.5 hours on four-lane highway.
An alternative to flying directly to Fredericton may be to fly into Bangor, Maine and the drive to Fredericton. This option may reduce costs of International flights. However please be aware of all U.S and Canadian requirements for land border crossings.
By Car
Major highways from all points in the United States join the Trans-Canada in New Brunswick. The interstate-95 connects with the Trans Canada at the Houlton, Maine/ Woodstock, New Brunswick border crossing. New Brunswick's Trans Canada highway runs east to west. There are only two exits into Fredericton from each direction. From the East, take exit 294 or exit 285B. From the West, take exit 280 or exit 285A. Please be aware of all U.S and Canadian requirements for land border crossings.

Taxi Service
The official taxi service offered by the Fredericton Airport is Trius Taxi. You can reach them at 1-506-454-4444 if you arrive outside of a time when shuttle service is being offered, there are always taxis waiting when flights get in. A taxi is approximately $20 from the airport to campus.
ResNet Shuttle Service
We will be arranging for shuttles specifically for ResNet delegates. When you are completing your registration form, please make sure to tell us your flight number and arrival time so that we can make sure there are enough shuttles running to transport everyone. If you do not make prior arrangements with us through the online registration form a shuttle may not be present for you. Shuttles will be running on June 20, 21, 25.
