| Description: | Starting in the Summer of 2008, a team of dedicated Student Techs have worked to
build a new web-app. This app is designed to handle many aspects of managing
student workers, such as scheduling shifts, submitting payforms, etc.
Today, we will be presenting a demo on how this application can be used to streamline your institutions operations. In addition, we will talk about how you can set up this application at your institution, as it is both free and open source. The application is written in Ruby-on-Rails, a modern web framework that allows rapid and flexible development of web-based applications. |
