| Description: | There is a natural desire to try and have your service point be all things to
all people. We all want to help students as much as we can, right? With more
students requesting services, a wider variety of services being requested, time
and budget constraints, and veiled threats from the General Council's office, it
becomes necessary to think deliberately about what we can and can't do to help
clients. Solutions must be helpful and relevant, yet legally acceptable and
sustainable in both cost and time.
Here at Bucknell, we've made our laptop program a core differentiator in the level of service we can provide, and have partnered with a local firm to provide some services we can no longer provide ourselves. Our tiered approach helps us and our clients understand exactly what we can and can't do for them. |
