Director of Conference Management

The Director of Conference Management shall be a voting member of the Board. This representative is responsible for oversight of the management of the Student Technology Conference. The Director of the Conference Management is responsible for leading the host selection process. This person is a voting member of the Conference Finance committee, the host committee and the program committee and reports back to the board on significant events and planning for the annual Conference. This person is empowered to make decisions on behalf of the Board in all non-financial matters related to the annual conference.
- Program Committee Chair – Works with the Director of Conference Management to recruit program committee members/volunteers, solicit the specific program for the annual conference, and attends to the programmatic details of the annual conference.
- Host Committee Chair – Works with the Director of Conference Management to assure a quality event. This chair would be a representative from the host school. The host committee may be composed of employees and volunteers from the host institution and ResNet membership.
- Conference Planning Committee - The committee meets with and reports to the Director of Conference Management to assure a quality event. It is composed of representation from the program committee, past and current host institutions.
The current Director of Conference Management is Teresa Pearson.
