Recent News 12 14 07
From ResNetWiki
Dear all,
The ResNet Steering and Informational Resources Committees are pleased to announce the launch of the new ResNet Web page at ResNetSymposium.org. We have moved all of our content into a wiki. The good news is that there is no need to remember a new URL; it's still <http://www.resnetsymposium.org>! We hope that you will all take part in adding to it to make it a resource for the entire community.
There are a few things I would like to highlight:
- The "Recent News" section, which will contain any announcements from the organization
- The "Ways to Contribute" section on the main page, which currently lists needs for the wiki but will also be used by others in the organization, such as the Program Committee or the RARG, to highlight requests for assistance or suggestions on how to contribute to the ResNet community
- The new home of the ResNet directory, which I hope you will all take a few minutes to update
To update the directory, first create an account on the wiki as only registered users have access to edit and create pages. Then, visit http://resnetsymposium.org/wiki/index.php/ResNet_Directory and find or add your school. Instructions on how to add your information is available at http://resnetsymposium.org/wiki/index.php/How_to_add_to_ResNet_Directory .
Our hope is that the wiki will become a repository for the wealth of information you all have and that many of you will consider adding informational articles. Examples include documents that you’ve created, tips and tricks on training and management, or links to your institution's FAQ and resources.
We welcome any comments, suggestions, etc. – please feel free to contact me at <loriann.higashi@resnetsymposium.org>, the Steering Committee at <steering@resnetsymposium.org>, and/or the Information Resources Committee at <inforesources@resnetsymposium.org>.
Thanks and happy holidays to you all.
-Lori
