Vice President

The Vice President shall be an officer and voting member of the Board of Directors, which manages the affairs of the corporation, and as such, may exercise all the powers of the corporation. The vice president shall have and may exercise all the powers and duties of the president during the absence of the president and President Elect. The Vice President shall be elected by popular vote of the membership with the understanding that they will serve in the first year as Vice President, the second year as President Elect, and in their final year as President of the Board of Directors, provided that they remain members in good standing.
Duties of the Vice President (Year One of Three-Year Presidential Track)
- Provides direction to the Nominations Committee, including appointing the committee members
- Works with the President Elect
- Focuses efforts in the following areas Director of Information Resources, Director of New Initiatives, Director of Communications
- Reviews bylaws annually and accepts primary responsibility for bylaw revision
- May represent the organization at various conferences and partnership meetings and events
- Vice President shall assume the duties of the President in the absence of the President and President Elect
